Pros and cons of Sheet Music Scanner app for iPhone and iPad

Sheet Music Scanner app good for

Am learning a string instrument and the ability to hear the scores (from where I choose) that Im trying to learn is so VERY helpful. Am DELIGHTED with how easy this app is. Accessing scores through photos is easy as pie. And immediately hearing them in the tempo of my choice is very happy-making!!! Thank you for your efforts in developing this app!!
I scanned a song in from a photo I saved from a .pdf file. Even with Multiple Voices enabled it would read the treble line alone and then the bass line alone. Also on a song I took a photo of it would miss some notes that were very low on the treble line. Other than that its very good! I love it! Keep up the great work.
Students who could get the app were able to download it and us it to help them with there part! Better than what I thought! This is coming from a choral director! ❤️
I didnt want to forget to say a HUGE thank you for multiple page support!!! Old review: First, I have to say I was very impressed. I have been trying out apps like NotateMe, which dont even have "use a picture from the photo library" feature yet...and cost a lot more. This app does both saved pics and on the spot pics. That is a major strength. I just wish it could recognize more than one page at once . Another strength is that it does a surprisingly good job recognizing the music… esp since the update! What once used to be 90 % accurate in perfect lighting on the first "pass"....missing things like key signatures and tempo is off IS NOW 100 % accurate on fairly complicated pages! For all of them Ive tried. The update also added more musical voices/instruments. Worth $4 and soon will be a contender against the "big" ones (such as notateme which is fast and accurate but has no open in function)....one this app is a bit faster and ESP when you can add multiple pages!
The only such app I found for iPhone. Simple & efficient. Many thanks !!
Cant believe how well this works! Only does one page at a time, but it plays multiple voices at once very accurately.

Some bad moments

Please dont waste your money on such a bad app. It mistakes the dynamics as quarter notes, it doesnt read all of the notes so the sheet music that you scan is choppy and it doesnt play the entire pice. It doesnt pick up grace notes, dynamics, and it plays every note a count more than what the actual value is. I would recommend that you just google your music rather than wasting your money on such a crappy app. Spend your money elsewhere.
Tried many pictures, but the App does not recognise most of the notes.
Was hopeful this would work but it only actually recognizes half the notes on the page making it completely useless. Do not buy!
The application crashes while recognizing the photo with scores. Didnt work for me.
Very cool: this app would have made my piano lessons so much easier. Just snap a picture of the sheet music, and after a brief analysis, its played for you.
This is not as bad as I thought a non-rated $4 music scanner would be. It does to the basic recognition but not stuff you would also count as basic. For example, it doesnt recognize ties. It would just play it as if there were no ties. Also, it has trouble recognizing accidentals and cant recognize accents (the accents I understand why it doesnt recognize it yet). Also, I think there should be a way of some sort to edit what it recognized. Maybe like bring up a staff and allow us to enter the note and/or accidental if it got it wrong. For example, on mine, it recognized every note except for 2 half notes (even though they were as clear as the others). I would have like to edit it and manually enter those notes. If that feature along with adding some other things such as ties, I would show this to my schools band (over 130 people). But overall, its pretty good so far.
